1Screen content

• When you start Loupe, iOS or iPadOS asks you to confirm screen sharing. Only then does Loupe’s screen sharing extension receive images of your screen.
• These images are processed on your device only, to find text and show its translation in the Picture in Picture window or, on iPad, in the Loupe window.
• Only while Loupe is translating, the screen sharing extension passes images to the app through a fixed-size shared-memory buffer inside the app’s private App Group container on your device. The buffer holds only the latest frame, and each new frame overwrites the previous one. When you stop Loupe, the buffer is cleared and deleted. Only Loupe can access it.
• Screen content is never saved as screenshots or recordings, never uploaded, never shared, and never used for any other purpose.
• You can stop at any time by tapping Stop Loupe, closing the Picture in Picture window, or stopping screen sharing from the status bar.

2LAN Live (optional, off by default)

• LAN Live is one of the reading scopes you can choose. It is off unless you pick it.
• While it is on, Loupe runs a small web server on your iPhone or iPad, shows you a link with the device’s local network address, and sends the translated screen as images to devices that open that link. The link contains a random password that is new for every session.
• The connection is plain HTTP inside your local network and is not encrypted, so anyone who has the link and is on the same network can watch. Use it on a network you trust, or on your own Personal Hotspot.
• Nothing leaves your local network: the images go directly from your device to the other device. They do not pass through us, and we have no servers involved.
• Stopping Loupe stops the server and invalidates the password, so the old link no longer works.

3Text recognition and translation

Text recognition uses Apple’s on-device Vision framework. Translation uses Apple’s on-device Translation framework. Translation language packs are downloaded by iOS from Apple; that download is handled by Apple under Apple’s Privacy Policy. After a language pack is downloaded, translation works offline.

4Information stored on your device

Loupe keeps a small amount of information on your device so the app works. None of it is sent to us.

• App Group storage (shared only between the Loupe app and its screen sharing extension): your settings (interface language, translation languages, reading scope), the current session state, your daily free usage counter, and a cached copy of your Loupe Pro status so the app opens quickly.
• Keychain: the date and the number of free seconds used that day, so the daily free limit is not reset by reinstalling. iOS may keep this Keychain item after the app is deleted; it contains no personal information.

5Purchases

Loupe Pro subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your name, Apple Account, or payment details. The app uses Apple’s StoreKit on your device to check whether you have Loupe Pro.

6No tracking, analytics, or advertising

• No account or sign-in.
• No third-party SDKs, analytics, crash-reporting services, or advertising.
• No tracking across apps or websites, and no data sold or shared.
• The app does not send data to servers operated by us.

7Children

Loupe is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

8Your choices

Deleting Loupe from your device deletes its settings, session state and cached Loupe Pro status. The only exception is the small Keychain item described in section 4 (today’s date and free seconds used), which the system may keep after the app is deleted; it contains no personal information and only affects the daily free limit. Subscriptions can be managed or canceled in your Apple Account settings.

• 你可以随时点「关闭透镜」、关掉画中画窗口，或在状态栏停止屏幕共享来结束。

2局域网同传（可选，默认关闭）

• 「局域网同传」是翻译范围里的一个选项，你不选它就不会开启。
• 开启期间，透镜翻译会在你的 iPhone 或 iPad 上运行一个小型网页服务，给出一条带本机局域网地址的链接，把译文画面以图片形式发给打开这条链接的设备。链接里带一个随机口令，每次开启都会重新生成。
• 这条连接是局域网内的普通 HTTP，没有加密：同一网络里拿到链接的人都能看到画面。请在你信任的网络里使用，或让对方连你的个人热点。
• 画面不会离开你的局域网：它直接从你的设备发到另一台设备，不经过我们，我们也没有参与其中的服务器。
• 关闭透镜即停止服务并作废口令，旧链接随即失效。

3文字识别与翻译

文字识别使用 Apple 端侧 Vision 框架，翻译使用 Apple 端侧 Translation 框架。翻译语言包由 iOS 从 Apple 下载，这一过程由 Apple 按照 Apple 隐私政策 处理。语言包下载完成后，离线也能翻译。

4保存在你设备上的信息

为了让 App 正常工作，透镜翻译会在你的设备上保存少量信息，这些信息都不会发送给我们。

• App Group 存储（仅透镜翻译 App 与其屏幕共享扩展之间共用）：你的设置（界面语言、翻译语言、翻译范围）、当前会话状态、每日免费用量计数，以及 Loupe Pro 状态的缓存（让 App 打开时立即显示）。
• 钥匙串：当天日期和已用的免费秒数，避免重装 App 重置每日免费额度。删除 App 后 iOS 可能保留这一钥匙串项目，其中不含任何个人信息。

5购买

Loupe Pro 订阅与买断由 Apple 通过 App Store 处理。我们不会获得你的姓名、Apple 账户或支付信息。本应用在设备上使用 Apple StoreKit 确认你是否拥有 Loupe Pro。

6无追踪、无统计、无广告

• 无需注册或登录账号。
• 不含任何第三方 SDK、统计分析、崩溃上报服务或广告。

7儿童

3文字辨識與翻譯
